I bought this software to compare text files for changes. An obvious functional requirement. Thus far, CompareMerge has proved useless for my needs with long strings of text highlighted instead of specific, smaller, differences. Usually, I am unable to find the actual difference. There seems to be no difference when changing options for highlighting. Save your money and look elsewhere.
